1. If you are a Maryland resident and your license was confiscated, you need to fill out a hearing request form. This must be mailed within 10 DAYS of the charge. (The form is on the back of PAGE 2 of the paper license - DR15A).
2. Get a certified copy of your driving record with a PBJ (Probation Before Judgement)
3. IN JAIL - Bail Bonding is very simple in OC. We can help you get a bondsman. Most commissioner bonds are reduced at a hearing. Bond review hearings are handled on an expedited basis.

Criminal

1. For most criminal charges, there are witnesses. Get everyone's name and address. A subpoena may be issued for their attendance at trial.
2. If you're charged with assault or there has been a fight, it is very important to contact my office immediately. There's a number of things you can do to protect your rights
3. Get photos of the people, any injuries and the physical area of where the incident occured. A picture is worth 1000 words.
4. Don't talk to anyone about your case. They may become a witness or have to testify in court.
5. Don't give a statement to the police if you believe you will be charged. They do not have your best interest in mind.
